Frequently Asked Questions

About Our Cider

How is your cider made?

We use cold pressure fermentation in stainless steel, followed by aging in either stainless or oak barrels depending on the expression. Every batch is filtered for crystal clarity and sterile final filtration to preserve the pure, bold flavours of Okanagan apples. No shortcuts, no pasteurization—just craft.

Why is your cider premium?

Premium starts with the source. We use only Okanagan Valley apples, cold pressure fermentation, and aging in oak barrels or stainless steel—never rushing the process. Every batch is filtered for crystal clarity and sterile final filtration. We bottle in glass to preserve flavour and presentation, and we never pasteurize. It's craft cider made without compromise, from terroir-driven fruit to the bold, complex expressions in every bottle.

Where do your apples come from?

Every apple is sourced from BC's Okanagan Valley, one of Canada's premier fruit-growing regions. The valley's unique terroir—warm days, cool nights, and mineral-rich soil—produces apples with exceptional flavour and character. That's the foundation of every bottle we make.

Do you use preservatives or additives?

We use sterile filtration to remove unwanted elements, but we also add sulphites to the final product as an extra safeguard to ensure quality and freshness. No pasteurization, no artificial ingredients, no shortcuts—just Okanagan apples, craft fermentation, sterile filtration, and sulphites for preservation.

What styles do you offer?

Our core range includes barrel-aged expressions with rich, complex character, hopped ciders with aromatic punch, and fruit-infused varieties that showcase seasonal ingredients. Each is crafted to highlight the terroir of the Okanagan Valley with the precision and intention of a winemaker.

What's the alcohol content?

Our ciders range from 6-7.5% ABV depending on the expression. Each product page lists the specific ABV for that bottle. This can also change from year.

Build Your Case

What is Build Your Case?

Build Your Case lets you choose your own mix of 12 Hardcore Cider bottles for one flat price of $215. Pick any combination of our five expressions — The Core, Unhazy Hopped, Strawberry Ciderita, Black Hole, and Barrel Proof. The more premium you build it, the better the deal.

How do I customize my case?

Add the Variety Case to your cart, then leave a note at checkout with your preferred mix — e.g. '6 Barrel Proof, 4 Black Hole, 2 Unhazy'. We'll pack it exactly as requested. If you don't leave a note, we'll send our curated Hardcore mix — a balanced selection across all five expressions.

Storage & Serving

How should I store and serve your cider?

Store bottles upright in a cool, dark place—ideally between 4-10°C. Proper storage preserves the flavour and quality. Serve cold at 2-6°C in your favourite pint glass, wine glass, or whatever you prefer—just use something that lets you appreciate the clarity and aromatics. Once opened, refrigerate and enjoy within a few days.

How long does unopened cider last?

When stored properly (cool, dark, upright), our cider will maintain peak quality for 12-18 months. Proper storage is key to preserving the bold flavours and character.

What's the best way to enjoy Hardcore Cider?

Serve cold at 2-6°C in your favourite pint glass, wine glass, or whatever you prefer—just use something that lets you appreciate the clarity and aromatics. Pair with charcuterie, aged cheeses, grilled meats, or enjoy on its own. Each expression has unique flavour notes—check the product page for specific pairing suggestions.
